ONE VOICE

About us:

ONE VOICE Youth Foundation is a dynamic, Pan-African youth-led movement created in 2021 by a group of passionate young people, both South African and from across the African continent, united by one powerful goal: To fight for youth’s rights, health, and future.

We believe that young people have the power to lead change. That’s why we work together across borders, cultures, and backgrounds to raise our voices and take action for justice, equality, and dignity for all youth living in Africa.

We are a growing community of bold, creative, and determined youth. Whether you’re an activist, artist, student, or dreamer, you have a place here

Your voice matters. Together, we are ONE VOICE

Our work focuses on critical areas where youth rights are most at risk:

We believe that every young person has the right to:

  • Access safe and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services
  • Receive education about their bodies, choices, and protection
  • Be free from stigma, shame, or fear when seeking help

Whether born in South Africa or elsewhere, all African youth deserve dignity, health, and opportunity. We stand against:

  • Xenophobia and discrimination
  • Lack of healthcare access
  • Youth unemployment and exclusion
  • Police violence and systemic injustice

GBV is a crisis that affects millions of young women, girls, LGBTQ+ youth, and even young men.

At ONE VOICE, we say: Enough is enough.

We work to:

  • Support survivors of GBV with referrals and resources
  • Educate youth on consent, respect, and healthy relationships
  • Organize marches and protests to hold systems accountable
  • Challenge cultural silence and harmful gender norms

We believe that every young person has the right to:

  • Access safe and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services
  • Receive education about their bodies, choices, and protection
  • Be free from stigma, shame, or fear when seeking help
OUR VISION IS To build a just, inclusive, and united Africa where every young person, regardless of: nationality, gender, or background, has the power, protection, and platform to live with dignity, access their rights, and lead positive change in their community.
